It's a string of numbers (and possibly letters) that the game uses to generate the world. If you have it you can use a seed analyser to see a map of the world (as big as you like) to plan out where you wanna put your base.
Most servers don't allow their users to know this, since then the quicker players get to claim all the cool things like ocean monuments and stuff.
I don't need it, but I'd appreciate having it to plan out me base.

As a college student this pic really grinds my gears. A LOT.
I mean, complain all you want about 40 hour work week. I have the same, did I also mention the homework we've got to do. For shits and giggles I counted the hours spent on schoolwork on a (rather busy, I'll admit) week. I got to 40... by wednesday. And I still had four more days of work ahead of me. Two of which I had to take public transport (1,5 hour trip to school) to school (since I have no income I can't fund a car). My sleep shedule is fucked up about as much as my parents, only in different ways AND I have to deal withnt getting any say in the household I too live in. This really agitates me, you know?

I agree it's a fantastic solution, just that I think they're going to be unreasonably priced.

I mean, I love the fact that they're neutral for the environment and all, but seeing how they biodegrade in 6 weeks, that really does limit shelf life. Also you basically have to drink them in one go since you can't put it away or close it again.
I'd say they're great for festivals or stuff, but let's face it, they're going to be a novelty item that you'll be guilt-tripped to use and they'll go for more than the same volume in traditional packaging.
I'm not against this, I'm just a bit pessimistic...

As a reddit user I have to say I know nothing of the sort. The hype died down a few weeks ago but since somewhere midway last week there's been a lot of reminder memes about the raid.
Also a lot of guys who plan to stream it and are afraid of being "stream sniped" (which I don't know what is).

I just came up with this though. The bible is basically a collection of religious, ethical and philosophical texts written by different dudes in different times in different situations (more or less). Then are you not wholly within your right to pick and choose which books (I believe books is the correct term) of the bible you follow and use for support?
