I'm fine with it, because I don't want us to just forget about the pedophile ring that involved the powerful and wealthy people running the country.

Does the Church of Sweden teach that homosexual behavior is a sin? If it does, the membership of the Church would be understandably confused/upset when the Church put homosexual art on display in the church.

The issue affects more than just kid-content creators. Creators who make content that happens to be family friendly may face loss of ad revenue or large fines if anyone in power determines their content to be for kids, whether it was or not.
Game Theory has a great video on the whole topic, and gets into more detail than I can here.

Our healthcare is awesome.
Our health insurance system got a massive fix, and is now incredibly helpful.
Our healthcare *costs* are a serious problem and there's nothing in place to keep people from pricing a $5 product at $500. You can get away with that in retail, but nobody will literally die from not buying new socks for $500. People can't just not buy insulin.
If we could put reasonable caps on the price of healthcare, there would be no problem at all.

I'm talking about northern Canada, specifically, where the population has increased and bear health has improved since the 1980s.
About 60% of polar bear subgroups in Arctic Canada have increasing populations, 20% are unknown for lack of data, and 20% are "likely declining" but not definitely.
Canada is home to over half of the world's polar bear population, and the bears there seem to be doing fine.

Contrary to the climate change narrative, the polar bear population is actually up.
For the record, we should obviously take care of the planet, cut emissions and pollution, use less plastic, etc.

I think that the "Epstein didn't kill himself" meme has stuck in our collective memory already more firmly than, "If the glove don't fit, you must acquit". So I'm pretty hopeful about at least some consequences getting dished out this time.

And the fact that Noah died at the age of 950 5 comments

Please don't use biblical literalism to mock Christians. Most Christians don't believe the Bible to be the literal word of God, don't know or care how old Noah was when he died*, do believe in evolution, do support scientific advancement, etc.
*Many biblical scholars agree that Noah the man likely did not live to be 900+ years old and that the Bible doesn't claim as such, rather that the dynasty of Noah lasted for 900+ years. The Jewish writers who first compiled Old Testament texts likely borrowed from the Sumerian tradition of naming an era or dynasty after one person. This allows for a mythic heritage to legitimize the authority of whoever happens to be ruling at the moment.

Wth is she holding? 4 comments

She is holding a mate (Spanish pronunciation - máh-tay).
Mate is the word for both the cup and the tea you drink out of it, though the tea is also frequently called "yerba mate". A mate cup is traditionally made from a small hollowed out gourd, but now you can find them in plastic, wood, metal, etc.
The main difference between mate and other teas is the straw. Google it to get an idea of what a mate straw looks like. It's a bent metal straw with a filter at the bottom. The filter keeps any leaves from getting through as you drink your tea.
You use loose leaf tea instead of bags so that some of the flavor will longer in the wood/gourd even after you empty the cup. The more you use your specific mate, the deeper, richer, and now unique the flavor can become.
