Sorry, it didn't fit in the comment so I thought I'd just add them later when someone asked.

Felixo77, I think you misunderstood me, I meant that the /rapists/ are most often male. Rape happens to men too of course and it is important to acknowledge them but women have a higher risk of being raped.

Alright, here's why I DO need feminism:
• I am an adult and I take responsibility for my actions. Same should go for everyone right? So why is it that only 2% of rapists are convicted? Why is it that the victim gets blamed for it instead?
• I define myself and drive my value by my own standards. But why is it that when I have sex, society tells me I am nothing more than a slut? Why does my sexual behaviour define me? Why does my outfit determine my self worth?
• I am a target for violence. 1 in 6 American women have been the sexually abused. 82% of underage victims were female. Domestic violence is the leading cause of injury to women.
• I respect men. I expect the same respect and rights. While men are also victims of the patriarchy (higher suicide rates etc.) the truth is that the perpetrators for rape/abuse are most often men.
Just because you don't need it doesn't mean others don't. And honestly without feminism through history, your life would have been very different.
