@guest_ https://youtu.be/Rzxr9FeZf1g - This explains why people choose to not vaccinate. It's a bit long (9mins or so) but worth it to watch.

My reply was aimed at you guys but also at the op. The daughter doesn't think they look alike, so I explained why she might see it that way and why you two have a different perception as well.

You're kind of both right. Its because of the way your brain processes faces. For the most part it uses face ratios, the height, width, & distance between features, not the shape of individual features. Then if that ratio matches someone in your memory or if you're consciously studying a face, it analyzes feature shape. That's why the more you look at the pic, the less alike they look. If you look at each feature separately by covering up the rest of the face you can more easily see how different they are. But, because they have almost identical facial ratios they look very similar and you can definitely tell they're related.

On April fool's day we all searched for bing on Google to see if we could get it to the #1 searched for term. Didn't quite make it to #1, but we put a huge spike in the data.

It takes less energy and concentration to drink with a straw and this allows people to multitask more effectively. For example, it's a lot easier to use a straw while driving and you don't lose as much focus on the road as you would with a regular glass.

That is, in fact, Jeannette Charles, an actress and queen Liz look alike. Although, I personally don't see the resemblance.

So from what I can tell neurosurgeons get paid anywhere from $395k to $733k. But remember, they also have to pay malpractice insurance which can be up to $150k. The average NBA player makes about $7.7 million, NFL is $2.9 mil, MLB is $4.5 mil, and NHL is $2.7 mil. And Lionel Messi raked in $84 mil last year. So not quite sports star salary.

Even us pharmacists/pharmacy techs have trouble reading scripts sometimes. Reading a script with messy handwriting is mostly process of elimination. There are only so many drug names and sets of directions, so its relatively easy to narrow down what they were trying to write. Also, most of the time the directions are written in sig codes (essentially abbreviated latin), so if you don't know them it just looks like gibberish. As for the sign in the pic, I can only make out "________ or ______ now! -signature" the rest is just squiggles as far as I can tell.

I think it has more to with the sexualized extremely young looking girls. Baby schema (‘Kindchenschema’) is a set of infantile physical features such as the large head, round face and big eyes that is perceived as cute and motivates caretaking behavior in other individuals, with the evolutionary function of enhancing offspring survival. Because they are drawn with baby schema, most adults subconsciously see them as extremely young and as a consequence see men who like anime as pedophiles.

Thanks, I stand corrected :) Of course it would have to be the one time I didn't have time check the sources. I was on my lunch break and thought 'hmmm, looks like a decently respectable website'. I should honestly know better than to trust random articles on the internet. Lol.

They left out the best bit, the first thing they invented after that gap is Irish road bowling. Which just sounds like something a plastered Irishman would invent as a drinking game.

Ankle sprains can fully heal. Most people think a sprained ankle isn't severe enough to warrant a trip to the doctor, so they never get it treated properly. Also, most people forget that physical therapy (restrengthening the muscles that stabilize the ankle) is essential for a full recovery.
