Like I said: people attack me about it regardless of whether I offer any opinion on whether masks Should be worn. Which I didn't do here. Hell, people downvoted my health issues in this very thread.
.
They also downvoted me talking about the rules Canada has implemented. Not agreeing, not disagreeing. With he exception of the final sentence, that's all it is. Just the rules. Perhaps with a bit more inflection, but not different than you would find them on a government website.
.
And the DVs aren't important, but they reflect the state of mind of people.
.
People have their minds made up. They do not want to TALK. They want to lecture and silence. They continuously find windmills to tilt at, and do their utmost to burn them to the ground.
.
If they actually gave a fuck about the people they claim to care about... they'd try and listen. Not project.

OR try to deny that THEY'RE the ones who said it. OR not pass that information on Because THEY said it. If they're right, they are right.
.
And we just fall back to the exact thing I said in my reply: people who cannot separate the fact that making a good point does not, in fact, automatically make you a good person, need to be protected from the world while we work on things like shapes and colors. And possibly reading comprehension I guess

I actually never said you called me a Nazi. I said PEOPLE have. Famousone asked if we ARE nazis, which I took as a joke, and responded.
.
As for the reading comprehension thing... apparently you failed to actually grasp literally the entirety of my comment.
.
If Hitler says water is wet - and he's the first person to ever make that statement, or he words it in a way that gets through to people.... And you choose to deliberately ignore this revelation because you don't LIKE the man.. Refuse to give him credit for it.. That's literally 1) ridiculous and 2) erasing history.
.
It doesn't necessarily matter to me if a person is schizophrenic. I would still get their opinion on subjects they know a lot about. Would take their information with a grain of salt (as you should with everyone) but if they're on their medication, and if what they say makes sense, I wouldn't automatically discount them...

The evidence I've seen and the interactions I've had all suggest that people have no ability to approach this problem with anything resembling an open mind. Or empathy.
.
Everything I've seen points to the fact that people are afraid. It's difficult to have discourse with people at the best of times. But When they're afraid... they don't want to TALK. They want someone to blame. If we can all find someone to point our hostility at...
.
it becomes much easier to ignore the fact that a situation isn't under your authority to control.

People like to pretend that they want masks for the good of everyone else, but at the end of the day from what I've seen and heard, people really don't care about other people. They want masks to protect themselves and themselves alone. Maybe some of their loved ones.
.
And that's fair. I find it ridiculous, however, when I tell these same people the negative impacts masks can and do have on my health, and the health of other people, and they essentially respond with "your reasons are invalid and I hate everything about your existence. Suck it up you miserable plague-bomb. If you die as a result, remember it's FOR YOUR OWN GOOD." It gets even more bizarre when people take this approach regardless of whether I offer an opinion on whether masks SHOULD be worn.

And if you DO get downvoted. The irony of that happening on THIS post would be astronomical. But I wouldn't take it personally.
.
There are some very edgy people on this website. People literally stalk famousone across this website and downvote everything he posts. People downvote me for saying I have health issues.
.
All the downvotes mean is that someone has given you authority to live rent-free in their head. I wouldn't make dowvnvotes a GOAL, but taking them seriously is not worth your time.
.
.
Also - apologies for the novel. I had no idea this was going to spiral like this when I started it haha

i looked at 7 deadly sins a couple of times but it never caught my eye enough to watch it. What's it about?
.
Also if you dislike love stories - Ginban kaleidoscope is off the table. Also your lie in April, which I completely forgot about. It's a very good little anime, but it's focus is on music, failure, death, hope, redemption. It's more emotional than adventurous.
.
It's been my experience that MOST anime have nudity.
.
Haha well OHSHC's entire storyline centres around rich guys playing giggolos to rich girls. Granted it's a comedy, and not an anime I would necessarily recommend to most people.
.
But just because something's a bit off the beaten path, or you enjoy it for reasons OTHER than the story isn't a bad thing. High school dxd could be a full blown hentai, doesn't mean there's anything wrong with enjoying it for or in spite of that fact

End result if you watch both is that they kind of almost play out like alternate universes.
.
I personally enjoyed both. 2003 had better character development, but the 2009 plot was a bit more intricate, and has a lot of characters you won't see in the 2003 version.
.
.
i liked most of them haha. Wolf's rain was a bit confusing, but still enjoyable. Psycho Pass is good if you like thought-provoking anime, crime, and questioning society. Soul Eater is quirky, but involves students at a school who go monster hunting (more or less) so it might be similar to some of the anime you've already seen.
.
For Naruto - the issue was I was watching shippuden back when it was already being released. And it got very old very quickly waiting a week or three just to have nothing happen. I imagine there's an abridged version of shippuden out somewhere, but I've never really gotten motivated to go back and watch it haha.

FMA is my favourite anime haha. Other people seem to like it, too. Though if you plan on watching both I'd say start with the 2003 anime.
.
The thing that happened with FMA is: the author was creating the manga, but before it was complete studios were asking if they could make a series out of it. She more or less said sure. The 2003 anime starts with the same plotline as the manga, but it diverges and has a completely different ending.
.
Which is good, but as the manga got more and more completed, fans of the series wanted an anime that stayed more true to the origin work.
.
So the end result is both anime start from the same place. But I guess to avoid too much overlap, they rush the intro episodes a bit for Brotherhood/2009 (which I wish they hadn't).

@nicengelman what's nichijou about?
.
@blazingfrags first of all: how have you not watched FMA?
.
Secondly... I forgot all about Naruto, which is kind of sad haha. I watched All of Naruto, and then I think through the 2nd or 3rd arc of shippuden before the filler content got to be too much
.
Forgot I also watched Black Butler and OHSHC, Vampire Knight, Dance in the. Vampire Bundt, nd I started Code Geass
.
I've heard of most of the other ones on the list, though. MHA and 7 deadly sins certainly seem to be popular at any rate
.
I don't know what Homeschool dxd, prison school, or testament of sister devil are about, but as I just threw out there: I've watched OHSHC and the others in that list, and this is the anime community - I ain't here to judge, haha.

A lot of mainstream stuff I guess that already did well for western audiences. What can I say - when it comes to anime, I'm not a hipster :p
.
I fully intend to watch Tokyo ghoul at some point as well.

How about you?

Ummm my anime list is pretty sparse tbh. Generally it takes me a long time to find a series I actually want to watch, anime or otherwise haha. The ones I can remember off the top of my head:
.
Wolf's rain
Fullmetal alchemist (2003+movie and brotherhood)
Death note
Psycho Pass
Soul Eater
Some of attack on titan
Expelled out of paradise (or something idr the title perfectly)
InuYasha
Spirited away
Some of the last airbender (though that's chinese-american so idk if it counts?)
Princess mononoke
Ginban Kaleidoscope
Some-anime-that-i-literally-just-went-to-google-the-name-of-and-then-lost-my-train-of-thought
Ajin: Demi-human [started, but I lost interest after the main character did a weird personality 180]
Sword art online
Gargantia on the Verduous planet
.
When I was younger I saw most of one of the Gundam Wing and some of Ghost in the shell and .hack//sign, but they were on the TV and never could watch with consistency
.
And now my brain is failing me so this will have to do for now

Sorry I didn't reply earlier. Was a bit of a rough night and wanted to have my head on a bit straighter.
.
It sounds like someone definitely had it out for that guy... And they succeed in horrifying fashion. literally every person makes jokes about life sucking, and the psychos who did that to him should know that
.
why is this place so.. Fucked up? I mean, why isn't anyone doing anything about it? You'd think they'd WANT it to run better..
.
I'm guessing there's no way to reapply for special ops?
.
And just because you're doc doesn't stop you from being human. Even therapists have therapists. You can save the entire unit, but that's no good if you self destruct in the process :/

Haha it's perfectly fine. Most of it is connected to cancel culture bullshit. I haven't been labelled a pedophile yet, which is impressive, because that term gets thrown around pretty fast and loose these days.
.
It used to surprise me more when it happened on HERE, but generally speaking I just find it funny. Just proves those people don't actually know what any of those words mean, and don't value the causes they're supposed to stand for.
.
As for the Russian thing... I don't think I've ever actually seen anyone say they were Russian on here before. Mia and demryn and f_kyeahhamburg are German I think, but that's as close as we get

I mean, most of the content on the website comes from bots. It's rare to have more than a handful of users post content, so it's only natural a few of the bots have stars
