ok, people saying that this is being overly sensitive, here's the thing. being a feminist is seen as a negative because there are stupid bimbos out there who don't know what real feminism is, making people think it's screaming that women are always the victim and are better than men in every single way possible. Rape isn't funny either... Feminists talk seriously about rape cuz so many women ARE victimized and get it blamed on themselves for the way they dress or "leading them on" and it's bull shit. actual feminists are advocates of actual equality. but people don't see that since men are anatomically larger and seen as more powerful in society, women are truly victimized, taken advantage of, and generally treated like crap more. it's not hypersensitivity when something you're trying to defend is being attacked due to ignorance.
