Years ago we lost the tv remote sometime in the spring so we had to change the channel the old fashioned way for months and then like 2 weeks before Christmas it just randomly appeared so my mom wrapped it and gave it to my dad on Christmas morning.

The waste outweighs the convenience. Oranges are naturally convenient in that they don't need any packaging and peeling them takes little to no effort. If people are too lazy to peel an orange then they need to take a good hard look at their life.

Wasn't necessarily saying work your way up at the grocery store but saying that starting with a low end job is just fine. Its a job, you get work experience and it opens doors for bigger and better job opportunities in the future. Its how my entire family has done it and we turned out just fine. Not wealthy but make enough to enjoy life without too much stess.

Discovery gave up on producing anything intellectual nearly 20 years ago. NatGeo or Science Channel would be the best bet, but then the dilemma of that would be the lack of reach to the masses. It needs to be one of the big 3 non cable channels, ABC, NBC and CBS. That's where the real money is.

Good idea but the logistics wouldn't make for entertaining television. Scientific study is a lot of trial and error with long periods of research and waiting on results with no guaranteed outcome. May be entertaining to a select few but not for the masses, sadly.

Everyone likes to point out the salaries of athletes as absurd yet hardly ever mention the salaries of actors and actresses. It's all in the name of entertainment.
