Looking for new music. I'm bored with everything I have and know about. Interested in finding music from genres that I normally avoid, those being rap/hip-hop (preferably of the intelligent sort, unless the beat is super dope then the lyrics don't matter), pop, folkish, dub...I don't know. I'm mostly into electronic and its sub-genres (psy, trance, DnB, ambient, some dub) so if anyone knows anything good in that area please make some recommendations. Rock, metal, and classical are good. Anything, I'm desperate haha No country though

I gotta tell ya, Bruce Springsteen is one great artist. He's got such an array of amazing songs, and they all tell some sort of story. Some or my favorites are "Dancing in the Dark" and "Sad eyes" but there are lots of great ones

Hmmm. Getter is pretty heavy so idk if you'll dig him, alison wonderland is bae, skrillex has an ambient remix of his track strangers and it is a beautiful piece, jauz is everywhere in genres but his stuff too, borgore if you wana be dirty

Haven't heard of the first two. I'm not a fan of Shinedown. I like Disturbeds older stuff. Sounds funny but Disturbed was a sort of bonding thing for my step dad and I. When my mom first introduced us I wouldn't interact with him (bad experience with a step mom Why would a step dad be any different, right?) He started showing me different metal and rock bands Disturbed being one of them. We're buddies now :)
