I was in a very similar situation where I had the decision of moving to Sweden to be with my fiancé (where there was also an amazing lab where I'd be able to have my dream job) or staying in London with my entire family but possibly a more competitive job market. I did move to Sweden, had to become fluent in a new language very quickly, had to adapt to a vastly different culture, but I absolutely love it. I took a while to get acclimated (and learn enough Swedish to even get a job), but it was definitely worth it because now I have a job I love and I still get to Skype with my family frequently. If this job is what you want, I'd say take it. It might be scary at first but you'll be able to keep in touch with family and it'd definitely be an adventure! :)
