Climate change happens all the time. It's been happening for thousands of years. It's nothing to worry about and ban cars and all that, but we should have at least a sense of responsibility for not making such a mess with manufacturing

I wouldn't say it's a hoax, just that alarmists tend to blow it out of proportion. The weather changes over a really long cycle, and thinking that it's always going to stick to certain months having certain weather is erroneous to me. Ice ages happened naturally, so did warm spots in our planets history. Even if we did control all our emissions so we had zero impact on the globe, it would still change regardless of what we did.

Climate change has happened before and we're not the first species to cause it. Billions of years ago stromatolites completely changed Earth's atmosphere to have a much larger percentage of oxygen in the air, which nearly wiped out all life. Melting ice caps caused by CO2 are nothing by comparison.

However, it still would cause extinction in the overly sensitive coral reefs, killing them.

And one thing leads to another

The earth has a very delicately balanced ecosystem. Besides, it IS pretty severe on top of that. As to why people deny it, lots of reasons. Short-sightedness, just caring about their benefits and not about the earth and society as a whole, or a simple inability to accept or process the idea.

Climate change is as big as a problem and scientists say it is

It could be much worse

It could yes. But it's still way beyond bad enough.

It's going at a much faster rate than in the past

Speaking of climate change, we're actually do for another glaciation in the next 1000 years or so.

Not the way things are going.

It's not looking too good

There's also the Yellowstone Caldera that's over 600000 years overdue for an eruption. A volcano that size could plunge the entire planet into 5 to 10 years of volcanic winter, something we've never had to deal with in the 250000 years we've been on this planet.

Sadly we can't do anything about volcanoes. Nor were they created by us.

Volcanoes are not our doing, despite what some at fox news believe.
