You have to wait for it to cool down. Give it a while. If it burnt out another fan, you probably have an underlying pathology. Is this a laptop or a desktop? Did you overclock it? Did you get a new video card or power supply? Do you have adequate heat sinking (the metal stuff that increases surface area for heat dispersal)?

It is a laptop,and the only thing I've physically done to it was change the fan.

Have you done anything "mentally" to it, such as overclocking it? I'll note that overclocking doesn't necessarily lead to much improvement in performance. A better measure of capability is instructions per second. Try cleaning the fan and using one of those cooling pad things.
