A lot of people IRL are taking Spanish because apparently it's the easiest, but that's just sounds generic and boring

All. The. Time.

Spanish is cool, I guess. I took it for about 6 months.

Hey I'm a little late to this, but music and running does it for me. Running is amazing, and if you push yourself the pain makes it feel like you're cleansing yourself.
Obviously moderation is vital, don't just rush into it if you're not used to running or you'll injure yourself or find it too hard and be demotivated and just give up.

Would biking be a good alternative?
cakelover · 7 years ago
Don't see why not. Any kind of exercise is good. Personally I lift and run, but I used to bike a fair bit. Exercise releases endorphins and exhausts negative energy, so exactly what kind you do is up to you :)

Well, unfortunately I'm not supposed to have any strenuous activity for the next few weeks according to my doctor, so I'm kinda stuck right noe

Now

That's heavy. How come? (And you can still listen to music right?)
rosebud · 7 years ago
My heartbeat's out of whack. I can't participate in PE at all.
The only music I've been listening to is Gershwin-era jazz and big band. And I've also been under a ton of stress lately, so that can't be too good either. All around, I'm feeling pretty awful and there's not a lot I can do to stop it.

Stress is nasty. Feels like a heavy weight on your shoulders. Music helps with depression, and trying new stuff is a good way to experience that. Depends what you're into as to what you'll like, but Eminem in particular helps when I'm down.
Just remember, nothing's permanent even if it feels like it

The problem with that is that I can't get happy because then I know it's not going to last, so why bother getting enthused about anything.
cakelover · 7 years ago
Hmmm lack of motivation. We've all been there. In fact I'm kinda there myself atm. Work's been taking it out of me and you're right, it is hard to get enthused

For me, it's school and my family. Mostly my family.

Family is hard man. You spend all your time with them and often they're the ones who can do you the most damage.
You'll have to excuse me now, it's sleep time. I hope you're feeling better soon pal, just remember that absolutely nothing is permanent, both the good stuff and the bad

Oh I have reasons alright.
1. I don't live with any guys.
2. The only guy in my immediate family is two states away.
3. Even if I'm far away from him I feel like I'm always in his shadow.
4. The three girls I do live with are controlling(mom is the exception, she's really softened up and I'm loving it)
5. I have no idol. No one to look up to. No one to relate to. I can't find one, but I really wish I could.
6. One of the few things keeps me happy, television, is filled to the brim with political satire, and it gets annoying after ten jokes.
7. My only dream is shot down to the point where it doesn't even feel real when it comes out of my mouth.
8. I have a group of friends whom of which want to get together and make a company but I'm not feeling it.
9. I love this girl across the Internet and I don't even talk to her that much and that crushes me because I can't contact her through anyplace else.
10. I don't want to hurt my friends, but I don't want to hurt the only girl I love.

11. Just talking about this hurts, because I'm not usually open about my feelings.
12. I read into politics and now I'm afraid for my life because a girl could easily ruin it by saying one word.
13. I act all high and mighty, but sometimes I don't know when to apologize.
14. I've fallen victim to my own quote a lot of times, and it rings true a lot more.

Your quote is true, and a good thing to remember is that we can relate.

I hope u get happy again. Or find the reason your unhappy.
rosebud · 7 years ago
I appreciate that.
