More specifically, about For Honor and it's shit show. For Honor is fun enough, lots of characters to play, fun combos with each one, and some interesting mechanics, but man does the general attitude of the upturned nosey higher than thoughs piss me off. get shoved off a cliff in a cheap move and the dude decides to go into chat and slander you for being a clueless cunt after you mention how stupid and unfair the whole thing was. People deliberately doing the thing that annoys the hell out of you, and going out of their way to make you angry and infuriated. It fucking sucks when you come across folks like that. Add some Chars having stupid combos that have moronically guarenteed damage, and those chars turn out to be some of the top meta picks for tournaments, you get some heaping piles of salt that some jackasses go out of their way to create. It's almost like they don't want you to play unless they can have a laugh at your expense. And I hate those kinds of players.

For honor is going to be killed by the player base. People on reddit are boycotting it. The player base are assholes and no one seems to have fun with the game.

In rainbow six even if you are the last one left and kill everyone but one on the enemy team and you die people will try to kick you out.

I need to mention the fucking Smash Bros community. Jesus christ they're nasty at times.
If you bring up Ridley you'll start a pointless flame war

yeah some players are just total assholes and rather than enjoying the game they enjoy you suffering, it's sad. I think the best thing to do is find another game with a better player base or just ignore those dickbags

I'm glad monster hunter doesn't have a shitty fanbase. It has lots of players who don't kow proper online etiquette and the rare troll here and there, but no one is really much of an asshole

I just learned For Honor's steam concurrent playerbase went from an alltime high of 45k to a a daily count of at least 3.5k players daily. Apparently I'm not the only one feeling salty.

Just like rust people are assholes in that game
dr_richard_ew · 7 years ago
Aren't people supposed to be assholes in Rust though?

Survival sandboxes tend to accrue those layers, after all, it is you against all in those games. DayZ planted that flag into the soil of that genre long ago.

*Players, dammit, I need to re-read everything I type.

Left 4 Dead still has a faithful playerbase,

I just want to say I hate the gaming community for making 11-12 year olds want to have YouTube gaming channels. Do you know how hard it is to have an 11 year old brother going on to 12 who wants to have a YouTube account for motherf***ing roblox?!?! On top of that, he wears those oversized Bluetooth headphones and listens to 21 pilots heathens. Online RPG MMO games are turning children into trash!!

^ My 11 year old brother is starting a YouTube channel for Minecraft (windows 10 edition) It's stupid.

I've got a YouTube channel but I don't post much

The problem is the more famous the game beomes, the more people it attracts. The more people that start playing the higher the chance of there being assholes, especially if it's free to play/cheap (Lol and csgo). Meanwhile wow u have to pay monthly, so u don't find many assholes, or you can play with friends to avoid getting assholes in your party.

Complicated games tend not to attract hordes of children. The more complex and difficult a game is (i.e. trips to the wiki don't help at all), the less likely I feel younger kids will want to play it.

For Honour just attracts a lot of mundane Deus Vult memes and it's kinda beating a dead horse.
