Walking towards the gallows I find myself reliving past mistakes. Remembering the dark days and how much pain they bring. At those points, living is worse than death. When your mind is at all out war with self survival. Being an amputee with constant, mind wrenching pain, is a hell on earth. Having said that, suicide is not a way out. I believe in God. He, along with my family are the only reasons I endure through the heartache. If God hasnt taken me out of this twisted game of life, then he has a plan for me. Im here to serve a purpose beyond my understanding. Without pain, heartache, and the storms of life, we cannot appreciate the sun. I wrote this to speak to those that stare at the noose. If I can make it through depression, pain, anxiety, and disappointment in my body, then you can too.
