What do you classify as wasted potential?

I once knew I could get into honors classes.
I literally just sat on my ass and missed that opportunity like for no fucking reason

I had all honors classes in sixth grade. I was too cocky and nearly failed three out of four. Still ended up with a D- in math, and as of this point I haven’t gotten past that.

My step brother had a college scholarship for baseball..he was very good and was going to go to a great college(i cant remember which one). His gf at the time couldn't get into that college so she convinced him to give up his scholarship and go to some community college with her. Shortly after he dropped out because he couldn't afford school stuff AND living necessities...she on the other hand got some minority help where they gave her money for books and whatnot which she wasted on clothes. She wound up pregnant and they broke up. He could be a pro baseball player by now Instead he bounces from job to job trying to support a kid he's barely allowed to see.

Suicide is wasted potential in my opinion, I'm not meaning this in an insensitive way. As long as you're alive, the possibilities are infinite.
