well the fact that you defended your sister is really really good. if he tries to press charges, you should try to countersue him since he was both speeding and committed a hit and run.

Yeah, apparently the sentence depends on the extent of injury and he got off lightly because technically the junction has a "blind side", still doesn't excuse his level of speed and aggression against a child. That's UK law for ya :/
