How high can you go?

I'm half deaf in my right ear. I sometimes hear whines that aren't there. I've taken several hearing tests and found that I can't hear high pitches in a closed environment because of this.

I hope that either you can find some affordable treatment or that your condition gets better.
This makes me more than grateful to have ears that function as good as they do.

It was from an ear infection. They say it'll get better but it'll never be perfect. ;-;

I've lived about 500 feet from an airport runway for the past 10 years or so and planes ranging in size from Cessnas to AC130s as well as several kinds of military and civilian helicopters come over my house every day. Because of that, I imagine that I have some hearing loss.

I can hear very high pitched noises that made me cry when I was younger, like bird screeches and tools that were far away so that made it annoying for my parents when I started crying for 'no reason' haha. It hasn't gotten better but I can tolerate a lot more
I haven't even thought of noise cancelling headphones they sound cool

It's good for travel and when people are being annoying af.
I recommend the aforementioned headphones I use because I feel I have great taste even though Bose has a patent on that technology.
