Betterthanyou is likely just stringing you along, ignore them. You could try asking the Gods why comments are disappearing from where you put them.

Are they old comments or new ones?

Well some are new some are old. And sometimes comments by other people also dissappear. For eg: Recently there was a post called Beware from The Dog. It was with a very cute pic of dog holding Beware from the dog sign. Two people commented. Me and another user. Now when it made it to Popular page I checked the comments and Comments by both of us are gone.

Sometimes they delete when people are chatting about things unrelated to the post. It's against the rules.
