i only say because my entire school is a pun, or towns that make a district have been abbreviated to N O B L E and so we are the "noble" knights, our in school culinary class restaurant is called the round table and our motto/ announcement outro is "stay noble, knights" along with so many others but

infosubstance me too! we have like 5 choirs, and each is something related to knights, like excalibur, the kingsmen, age of guinevere, etc

Just copy someone else's news broadcast. Do something like "Stay fresh!" or "Don't get cooked! Stay off the hook!"

"And that's the way the cookie crumbles"

Is your school strict? or can you be a bit weird?
creativedragonbaby · 6 years ago
"And that's the news!" Say it like a cheesy commentator.

"Peace out bitches" *mic drop*
Nah in all seriousness... make it a thing where you have a different one each day... and when the moment presents itself and you end on bad news, you must use the "that's turrible" -Charles Barkley.
funkmasterrex · 6 years ago
Ok so that last one was only halfway serious... although if you start ending it with inspirational quotes it might work.
Other than that, just say "This is ____, signing off"... or... since I can't help myself...
"Houston, we have a problem."

@guest_ stay frosty is lit yo.

@funkmasterrex- Aliens for life. I like the "that's turrible" and if it was college or something I'd go with "peace out bitches."
funkmasterrex · 6 years ago
you could probably get away with "peace out bitches" in a college setting... but I can't ever recall their being announcements at any college I was at :/
That still leaves the last day of senior year though; worth it then.

Go hard AND go home. You really can have it all. They'd do announcements at 2/3 schools I went to. Not so much a scheduled daily thing, but periodically whenever anything was going on.

you mean sporadic? That happened a few times... but like... maybe 6 times in 4 years when I was actually on campus.... one was for a lost car, one was for some sort of food rally thing, one for a drug bust and one that was specifically for the dorms when I was @ St Johns... it was a wake up call so we could go paint a building.... I was hungover and they had to literally rip me from my bed. Once I was hydrated again I had a good time though... Painted a badass polar bear.

Nah. Meant periodically- in the sense of occasionally and not the sense of at set intervals. Although as you point out, sporadic might be a less ambiguous choice. I can't recall hearing them every day, but I do recall them quite often. Occasional sort of advisory or notification ones as you describe, but usually rally's, ads for the culinary programs restaurant, various events or mile stones going on, or just word of area events, reminders to take care of yourself and blah blah. I'm down with a bad ass polar bear though.

wow... where'd you attend? They sound vocal AF.
funkmasterrex · 6 years ago
Haha I'll post a pic of the polar bear if you ask.

Well, heck yeah then, if it's not too much trouble. A work of art is a thing to behold.
