A big pet peeve of mine is those headlines that read like “The doctors said I’d never walk again, but I’m a strong independent woman so I said fuck em and walked”. Like no bitch, they were trying to be realistic. We’re all happy you recovered but a big part of it was probably luck. Of course you worked hard but so did the others and they can’t walk.
