Scary movies or funny movies are good for a date. Scary movies preferably. Yall should do something before the movie tho. Movies aren't the best choice for a FIRST date, bc you can't talk and bond. UNLESS you go for something before the movie too. Like go for Starbucks, or ice cream, or even better if you have a special place outdoors that you go to that's nice to walk or just to think..take him there. Show it off to him and just have some conversation and fun. Just snowballing some ideas.

I agree with Grim. Nothing fancy and long, a little sit-down fast food kinda dinner might be optimal.

If you're gonna be fancy, do the dinner first and then go to the movie.

Age wise, anything fancy would most likely entail Parental units.
