It would be easier to give an opinion if there was a picture. I'd say it depends where the bow is and how big it is as well.

That's the second type
It's nice
To me at least

I think the bow is cute, for what it's worth.

A bit of both, really

Do you think it depends on what type of girls guys/girls like?

Yeah.

Just speaking on looks and not what a person can convey through themselves- ribbons are cute. They are fun and playful and light. Wether they are appropriate depends on if you want to add a touch of that to an outfit, and when coupled with an outfit that already conveys though things they can still be very cute but may give perceptions of naivety or softness. In general the ribbon is not a “power” accessory. If you feel you’re image is too strong for your intent a ribbon can help bring it down a notch. It can add some fun and flare to a plain outfit or a splash of color to drab fall and winter tones. It’s a great spring and summer ornament for nice days and the spirit of the season. If you feel like wearing a ribbon, you probably should be wearing a ribbon. Grown women can wear ribbons just fine, like anything in the wardrobe they just might not be the best choice for every situation and being aware they alter the power dynamic of your image and planning appropriately is the key.

Have you considered writing for a fashion magazine?

As a lesbian, I think if they’re trying to go for a cute, innocent look, then it looks fucking adorable. If they’re trying to make it into a more powerful look, that’s dangerous, because it looks silly if pulled off wrong, but if you manage to do it right, instant swoon.

Both are fine, but like what Rosalina wrote over the top bows/ribbons with lots of things going on is just a no-no unless it’s part of a costume

@msopinionated- lol. I’ll write for anyone if they’re paying. Sometimes if they aren’t!

As a man, I actually think ribbons are pretty cute. But they definitely aren't a power accessory unless you do it really right.

Yes. Only wear my bows when I'm trying to pull off the cute look. Not the "I OWN this place" look.

It really depends on the girl.

Yeah, a few factors come into play with bows/other head accessories. Shape, size, and location are key into pulling one off. I know some girls that can wear them better than others.

I myself don't like seeing bows on anyone over the age 5 or 6. I however, was ruined by someone on the "hairbow" as an accessory. I also know a lot of people who just hate them like I do. Ribbons can be worn in many ways besides just in a bow, so I like ribbons...just not bows.
