Well on the surface the quote doesn’t sound racist assuming he is talking about illegal aliens. No matter what your stance on how the US should handle illegal immigrants they are both criminal (according to US law) and not in their home country.
It’s pretty hostile to say you are going to round them up but it’s not racist. Technically he could be talking about illegal Brits though they are harder to drive home.

I feel like its fueling hate fires. Sure I'll acknowledge that we have illegals, but should be really be bragging about how we are going to round them all up in a bus? His whole video is centered around that. He doesnt mention any other goals. Just deporting the illegals

Fueling hate is what politicians do. There’s always some group to target. Indians, Germans, Japanese, communists, terrorists, illegals have all been part of political campaigns and those are just the ones not completely based on racial prejudice.

Wow that was gross. I feel unclean after watching that ad. Fine, you can call them criminals. They just want a better life. They just want to work hard and spend time with their families and not think about being rounded up like dogs to a pound. People who think like that are screwed in the head.

Illegals are by very definition criminals. Being illegally in the country is a criminal offense. Now, that being said, I also don’t believe they present any real threat, but that doesn’t make what they are doing lawful.

They are indeed, the one guys bus says “follow me to Mexico” so he’s not even addressing the immigration issue in a balanced way. If he wants to deport everyone regardless of country of origin that’s one thing but it seems only Mexico and the Middle East are truly political targets. Never mind most of the people coming over the Mexican border aren’t actually from Mexico.
It’s weak shit, yeah, but as I mentioned vilification of a generalized enemy is an effective way to win an election.

I had my ID stolen by an illegal in Jersey. Cost me hundreds of dollars and dozens of hours of aggravation. Illegals are committing crimes every day. There are legal ways to enter the country. I have and do work with a handful of legal immigrants. My neighbor is a legal immigrant. They all think that dhortcutting the system is bullshit.

It’s not all the same for immigrants. I know a guy who has been waiting on his green card for seven years because his masters degree wasn’t recognized by the US. If it was he would have had the card a couple years ago because there is a merit element to it.
I can’t blame unskilled people for coming into the US and trying to make a better life for themselves. I also can’t blame anyone for deporting they since they are here illegally. We should, however, not think of them as a scourge or an enemy and they shouldn’t be used as paper demons to terrify the gullible into voting a certain way.
