Always do it in person. Or via call. Never send a text or IM or something like that, because it sends a message to the girl that you don't think she's worth putting effort into.

She may have high standards and good reasons for that. We are friends, and she is a great student, has good grades, good attendance, doesn't do drugs etc. As for me, well. I don't do good in terms of grades or attendance. So yeah. She literally looks like a queen, with or without makeup.

She hasn't responded so it may seem that I have been rejected. Unfortunate. I would've done it in person, but I missed my last chance because we go to the same group and I waited until the last day, then when the last day came the group cancelled, and I didn't get to ask her in person. I understand the value of asking her in person, and then asking her via text. But I really didn't have much of a choice.

Because he wasn't going to see her in person, he said that. He didn't have much of a choice
