I don't like it. I dont even like pop. I prefer the sounds of guitars, bass, and drums. Some pop is alright.

Also I will hate it even more if it's in a foreign language I cant understand. I like some foreign music but all barely have vocals. Like why liste. to something you cant understand.
But that's my opinion.

I've listened to a couple songs at my friend's request and, I will say, not bad. While it isn't my thing, i see why some people like it.

I like a couple, don't care for most of it though.

It was better before it started appearing everywhere. I liked a few groups/artists from 2012 and earlier, but they've long since disbanded and everything after that feels manufactured and repetitive. Groups nowadays don't have that same uniqueness to them.

I think it's overrated and the fan base is made up of fan girls that fetishise Koreans and Korean culture.

I can appreciate it for the music and cultural importance. However, in western culture it is RIDICULOUSLY overrated. All its fans are fangirls that fetishize and infantilize Korean men and make a spectacle of Korean culture. There’s a difference between appreciating foreign culture and appropriating/fetishizing it.

My friend just likes the music.

I like a couple songs, because I sometimes enjoy songs in languages I don't understand. I find the lack of understanding actually is soothing to me. Not a fan much though, just because I normally enjoy songs I understand the meaning of in the moment.
