He's sounding a bit old at this point tbh

Well, he is old. There are moments which seem a bit out of line/uncalled for, but there are some moments of pure savagery too.

But old as in nothing new. There was very little on this record that was anything he hasn't already done before at a better quality.

The album has glimpses of Slim Shady. The rants, insults, calling out, etc are there. But, it certainly had more energy and focused lyrics than Revival. In fact, that was one of the main reason of this album, Revival tanking.

It was on while I was working, but I wasn't paying attention.... coals! always the coals! I'll check it out.

I'll tell you this.. that album cover is fucking awesome.

I can't even fucking find the Venom song.... I listened to Lucky You, halfish of Kamikaze and Fall. They each had moments... but I wish he'd go back to sometimes slowing it the hell down... Rap God was awesome, but it had a purpose for being that fucking fast. He's much better with range instead of just pigeon-holing him into this monotone speed rapper.

Like... seriously... compare that to "Cleaning out My Closet"... (snare tempo through the whole thing). Maybe he just needs more fucking snares.

I also gotta say... he's so much better against just some drums and a few notes instead of fucking t-pain music altering choir boy with piano bullshit... it conflicts with the ability to hear what he's saying.
"Fall" is probably my favorite song so far... but I really think it's flawed as hell.

After listening to "When I'm Gone" I'm convinced. It's the fucking snares.
