I havent watched an anime since toradora. That shit ruin my chances of ever having an anime ever be up to standards anymore.

Overlord is a dude that's sad because his fav mmorpg is being closed forever and hes enjoying the last few moments before the server shuts down and he realizes hes trapped in the game. Except it's no longer a game, its reality. All the NPCs are alive and hink for themselves.
The anime focuses on Ainz/Momonga. He is our main and we slowly see how he starts to forget who is really is and is slowly becoming his mmorpg character in both body and mind

I have seen ghost stories, (the dub obviously) and it is one of my favourite comedy animes. I know of Toradora but after seeing the first few episodes I dropped it. Overlord seems really interesting from your synopsis so I might check that out!
