Real quick guys: What would an engineer have with them in an apocalypse?

So, for example a doctor would have a medkit or a medical handbook
A musician would have an instrument.
what would an engineer have?

A wrench?

Depends on the type of engineer I guess. Structural? Environmental? Combat?

statistically speaking petroleum engineering is the most common so a bunch of papers to do with the construction of petroleum related things?

I mean structural engineer.
Basically a mechanic but engineer sounds cooler

Engineers could have laser levels, a laptop, a phone, an old school engineer may have a sextant, compass, etc. a civil engineer may have a shovel, or some optical devices. An electrical engineer might have some small electrical components, wire, transistors, etc, or electrical tools like wire cutters, a power probe, etc. a mechanical engineer might have some small hand tools, or depending like if they work in an industrial capacity such as overseeing cooling systems or production feed machinery they could have large wrenches and bars, gas shit off equipment, etc. the sort of “default” generic “engineer” tends to have a cell phone and a laptop, but if they are a field engineer of some sort they will likely have or have had access to some “tools of the trade.”
