Is she saying something important? Then try to listen. Remember she loves you and she's trying her best (hopefully). If it's futile chit chat (which distracts you from your science), then think about something else very intensely. Go in your room pretending you need to study, then listen to Rammstein and scream in your pillow for 45 seconds instead.

Rammstein!

All she is doing is screaming at the dog because he's constantly whining at her, and now she's screeching at my dad for nothing inportant

Ask her to lower her voice because you have a headache...or earplugs
dr_richard_ew · 7 years ago
If I do that then she'll yell at me
klymaxx · 7 years ago
Damn. My mom was like that..I used to get like that too so let me tell you that honestly there's nothing you can do. Leave her alone, lock yourself in your room, leave the house, seriously get some earplugs lol Does your mom have anger issues or is this a rare happening?

Look at her right is the eyes and say : Shut the fuck up woman she will shocked in horror and will shut her mouth
dr_richard_ew · 7 years ago
This is rare. Not to seem rude, but I'm pretty certain it's that time of the months for her, since literally everything is making her yell...

Yukihaki, in my house that's the first step to getting murdered
klymaxx · 7 years ago
Lol Oh man, I'm sorry. Definitely leave her alone if it's that time of month.

HOW DARE YOU! TALK TO ME ABOUT YOUR DOG IMMEDIATELY! Please??? :) Anyway you gotta be strong, Dr. Let her pour out everything and don't let her words unsettle you. Then leave the room and release the tension you piled up with music, walking, swimming (very relaxing). I know you can make it!

Oh, it's not that it's unsettling me, but I have had it up to here with conflict, and by this point I'm just ready to smack a bitch

Usually, just make sure that everyone has shut up first. XD from my experience, she won't be quiet until everyone else is
Or pretend to take a nap. It sometimes guilt trips them.

Give her a hug?
silvermyth · 7 years ago
Just stare at a part of her hair with a shocked expression, and when she asks about it, say 'nothing' and walk away.

Suck it up. Try not to agrovate her. Try to be helpful. I can relate to this but sometimes you gotta take it. The other option is for you to move out or your parents divorce so just try not to make things worse and suck it up

If you think she's on her period ew then she may be, our hormones make us go into a state of higher arousal levels so our emotions are the same but just kicked up a notch. You do usually experience more anger in this time so that may be it, I would suggest just letting it pass. If you think it's about something specifically then try talking to her about it, you want to keep her on your side and be helpful and supportive son as much as this may be hard sometimes. Help her out and if she needs to, let her vent, you know what it feels like to get angry so try to share what helps you with her. Hopefully it'll pass but once it's over she'll remember you as being kind to her and hopefully reward you in some way
