The main point being made here is obviously true. But it's also a fact that alcohol and television and other things contribute more than we like to think. Just blaming the rapist is good because he is totally responsible for his actions, but we should also recognize the disgusting flaws in our society that need to be changed.

Granted that punching people isn't usually the best course of action, but the professor was acting like a douchebag too. What goes around, comes around, I suppose.
