I have a story about my grandpa, where he and his brother had a contest over who could grow the biggest tomatoes in their gardens. My grandpa's brother was a great gardener, who took daily care of his tomoatoes. My grandpa, not so much. He barely spent any time on the garden. The day before the end of the contest, my great-uncle's tomatoes were beautiful, while my grandpa's were tiny, pathetic looking things. That night, my grandpa (who was a doctor, btw) cut off the tomatoes from the plant, took a bunch of store-bought tomatoes, and sewed them to the plant with surgical sutures. My great-uncle was pissed the next morning.
