Although I can appreciate the seriousness of this situation to others to some older people an animal is their connection to life, home, comfort and indeed family. Having spent a lot of time in hospital I was delighted when the hospital built an aviary in the centre of the hospital to aide in patient recovery by lessening anxiety and the likes. I can see both sides of the argument.....
