Miracles. Events with astronomical odds of occurring. Like oxygen turning into gold. I’ve longed to witness such an event. Yet I neglect that in human coupling, millions upon millions of cells compete to create life, for generation after generation. Until finally your mother loves a man she has every reason to hate. But out of that contradiction, against unfathomable odds, it is you, only you that emerged. To distill so specific a form, from all that chaos, it’s like turning air into gold. A miracle. And so I was wrong, now dry your eyes, and let’s go home.

Turns invisible but only when people aren’t looking.

Helmets make you feel protected; you start pushing yourself further than your abilities allow. I snowboarded for over 15 years with no lid; trees, double blacks, chutes, rock gardens, powder bowls: not one concussion. I’ve known many people who became over confident because of their helmet and ended up breaking something.
Consequences and fear are tools to be used properly.

‘80’s babies didn’t have bubble wrap either. The mid nineties was the beginning of political correctness (read:post modern Marxism) and the beginning of the decline of western civilization.
