A person could sleep with 50 people and if they're safe they might never get an STI/STD, and on the other hand someone could sleep with 2 people and catch something, so everyone should just have lots of safe sex. I can sort of understand about the reputation thing but in my opinion I prefer sex with someone who knows what they are doing, and those are typically the same people that have had a lot of experience.
And maybe he is comparing it to cereal so people can see how ridiculous it is to compare one person to another, when we are all so different!
