I'll tell you all a funny story that has happened to me.
The first time I got the game, I had no knowledge of CS:GO whatsoever which is funny because I got the game pretty recently, around August. Well, fast forward 3 days after I get the game, I play 1 casual game and end up getting my first case. I was thrilled, and because I had 12$ leftover from buying the game, I thought, "Why not?". I pay around 3 dollars to open the case and when I do, I end up getting a damascus steel Karambit, but because I am ever so stupid, I didn't know how special it was, and because I didn't want to listen to other players, I muted players. I had it for 5 days until my friend told me of how rare it is. That's it. I still have the knife, and everyone thinks I'm a rich kid who stole their parents credit card to get the game.
tl;dr - I GOT A DAMASCUS STEEL KARAMBIT FOR 3 BUCKS.

Okay, might be a little late, but the name of this armor making is called pepakura. People use either foam or card stock to make such armor. both versions are hot glued together and the card stock is later covered in fiberglass. I forget the actual steps, but I'm using this method for my Halloween costume.
