Or, you know, how bout we all just politely respect each other's beliefs/non beliefs, and carry on with our lives? Yes, there are some athiests who are rude, disrespectful, and the like, but they do not represent the rest of us, same for any religion. There are those who take it too far with any group, who get the most attention because they are the ones who do the 'newsworthy' things.
We can all agree, that there are just some people who spoil it for the rest of us. Maybe one day, we can resolve that peacefully, by continuing to try spreading the idea of just living our own lives, and not trying to force anything on anyone. This is my own ideology, and yours may differ a bit. I am happy to discuss any conflicting beliefs.

Let me tell you a little story. A few months ago, this little old lady came to my register to buy some things, not many, and not costly, and well you probably know where I'm going with this. It totals up to $6.66, and this lady, she looks up at the screen, then at me. And she just starts quietly laughing. Nothing insane, but she was just genuinely amused at the price. We talked about how most people get so offended, and she just laughs again. I convinced her to take the receipt, instead of just throwing it away, so she could go try and see if she could offend her friends.
