It's just what people like now. In the 20s it was all about having a slim figure. No curves, no tits, no ass. Things change. Shows from 10 years ago when they ask " does this make my butt look fat ? I understand what you're saying, but people probably realize that when they try it out. People who are close to you will know it's fake and if people don't care about rumors spreading then it's no big deal. Obviously most people opt for the more subtle things like self defense classes and pepper spray and all that, so it's not like this is gonna take off in a big trend or anything.

And my point was even though there is a LOW chance you should be prepared. Yeah you shouldn't have an irrational fear where you think EVERY person is out to get you but it doesn't hurt to be prepared in case someone is sketchy or someone does try something. And if someone's gonna put a fake penis down their pants to avert attacker then let them. If it looks stupid and works, it's not stupid.
