Audiobooks really help with that because you can do other stuff while listening and don't have to make a conscious effort and maintain focus to read. At least that's how I got through the original 6 Dune books in a month, lol.
But I understand they're not for everyone. I used to dislike them because I found it hard to focus on them while doing something else, but I figured it out eventually.

Yah but tbh all the monster girls are still drawn as hot or, at the very least, cute. Reminds me of that meme with female and male fantasy races like orcs or satyrs, where the female versions are all just the same model in a bikini with a recolored skin. There is a difference IMO, from personal experience.
It's also interesting that Beauty and the Beast is the "benchmark" used here because the novel was originally written to prepare young girls for arranged marriages. So that girls would get used to marrying a "monster" – aka a rich asshole their parents chose.

To be fair, that's not inaccurate to the source material. The later books are EXTREMELY horny... but still have that same dry, philosophical tone. It's, uh, weird to say the least.

Ahahaha the exact same thing happened to me with pigeons. Bought a plastic crow to scare them away because they keep trying to nest on my balcony (and by "nest" I mean sleep and poop all over the place, they are hilariously bad at building nests). It worked for a bit, now they're just chilling next to the crow like they're besties.

Borderline is not the same as manic-depressive/bipolar disorder. It's easy to get then confused since the names are kinda similar, but bipolar disorder, which is what Kanye has been diagnosed with, is characterized by periods of extreme energy (aka mania, sometimes the person doesn't even sleep) and periods of deep depression. Whereas borderline is characterized by having really strong emotions towards everything, which usually makes the person have really black and white thinking, ie. that things/people/events are either amazing or absolutely terrible with nothing inbetween, also often accompanied by a low self-confidence and fear of abandonment.
Kanye has been diagnosed with the former but judging by the way he's been acting recently he perhaps *could* also have the latter, but I'm not a psychologist so I can't really say. In any case the man needs professional help and not to be milked by media outlets, be it left leaning or right leaning ones.
