For patriotism, that's a thing I don't really understand.
I mean, I know Germany is a very nice country to live in, we have great advantages compared to other countries and yes, in the past and present there were very many people from Germany who invented great things or contributed massively to the world progress, but that has nothing to see with myself. I didn't choose to be born in this country, I haven't invented great things, I didn't make the world a better place (so far).
But I have great achievements of my own in my own life and environment which I'm proud of, so perhaps that is the reason I'm not in the need to be proud of things I didn't have any influence in or to make myself feel better than others, just because the odds made me a white male German.

No. Nobody gets arrested for political opinions. People get arrested for crimes. And freedom of speech ends, where it harms others. If I call you a *insert insult here*, you may go to the police and file charges. What you are talking about is the glorification of German war crimes (which is forbidden for extremely good reasons), or trying to bring down the public order or being massively anti-constitutional.
