Test-drive your tattoo first

This is a very good idea. I got a tattoo and, while I'm happy and don't regret it, I had second thoughts walking into the room based on its condition, but did it anyway because my friend had several good tattoos from there. Since it's permanent, do this.

Both of my tats where "test driven" at the behest of the artist. Most good tattoo artists will have massive pride in their work and don't want a shitty one walking around somewhere.

Also a good test of the actual skills of the tattoo artist. :D
