What type of olive oil? Extra virgin? (I ask because I use olive oil so much that I taste a really big difference between the types, IDK if it's really expensive in America or something but it's pretty cheap here)

I'm from Spain and I can't imagine a toast without olive oil.

How does one do that? Drizzle the oil on gently before or after toasting? Apply with a spoon like one applies honey?
