It wasn't coherent. It didn't tell Superman's story at all. It was just Superman and Zod smashing up a city like Michael Bay on painkillers. And it was totally out of character for Superman, who would go completely out of his way to direct the fighting away from any civilians. In MoS he just didn't even care. I won't watch batman vs superman. As long as Zach Snyder is in charge, he won't get any of my money.
it was dull. Take Smallville- it's entertaining, the characters were interesting and the conflicts were intruiging. Of course it has the advantage of time, being a TV show- but the characters were entertaining from the moment they were on screen in every episode, even their first appearances. Man Of Steel- lacked this. The characters were dull and lacked personality and Amy Adams as Lois Lane, who is supposed to be determined, funny and fierce- had the personality of a slice of bread.
Well he is not superman yet, he is in the process of becoming superman and he couldn't take the fight elsewhere because Zod wanted to destroy earth and didn't care about the destruction. Also it's basically two gods fighting in a city so yeah I think there would be some destruction if not the whole city destroyed. It's a story about where he came from, how he is now, and what he is going to become superman.
but it's not done in an interesting way. I never felt bad for him or any of the characters and when it came to the climax I was just sort of 'eh....' I found it to be poorly written and just a dull interpretation of a usually exciting story
Why is he even in it? I understand that Scarlet Witch does *spoiler*, but aside from being her brother and he *minor spoiler*, what relevance does he have?
