I think it's because the movie looks down from the height he's at

A very high place
Its also in 3d so its giving it that extra depth feel too it. And 3d already has a history of making some people nauseous.

Well, I recently saw movie Everest in 3D IMAX and it was good/thrilling, but I can't do 3D too well because of my near-sightedness.
And that sucks because the movie looks really pretty, and I really want to see it, but throwing up isn't fun...
