Actually I did a lot of research on these beautiful things. I thought that they would be similar to St. Bernard or Newfoundlans, gentle giants. However, upon further investigation I have come to learn that these dogs are on average very people aggressive when it comes to strangers, require a very experienced and dominant leader for an owner, and are not safe for children. Although I know (as someone who's mother owns and runs a dog training/cognitive rehabilitation business) that dogs are what their owners make them (pitbulls being beautiful examples as they are such sweethearts) I would hope to someday adopt a Caucasian Shepherd, or a Dire Wolf Project dog (proud to be on their waitlist)
