Well they do, in many versions the viallians know who batman really is. Even in the dark knight rises (the most resent batman movie) pretty much everyone knows its Bruce Wayne.
Charlie Chaplin once competed in a Charlie Chaplin lookalike contest and didn't even make it to the finals so I always thought it was kind of like that for Superman.
