Holy shit and thats just one handed My dad made me cut out ,drill, and sand the paddle that he used on me.my principles throughout school used the same type paddle
Intetesting fact of the day... It depends on the state. If you live in America there are 31 States that outlawed School Corporal Punishment, and in the 19 States where School Corporal Punishment is "allowed" it is highly frowned upon and will still get you fired, sued, etc. From my knowledge, in States where School Corporal Punishment isn't outlawed by the State, it becomes the choice of the County and/or Local Government whether or not to allow it within the City and/or County. For example I actually live in a State that didn't outlaw School Corporal Punishment, but my local government outlawed it, and my County does not allow it.
If my kid does somethin the teachers deams nessary for her to get a paddlin & the principal or VP agrees, then by all means go for it!! I'm with @dimmerdeath. Back many moons ago, my school paddled. We didn't have most of the BS problems ya just about see now with the kids spittin on, cursing, hitting or threatening the teachers. We did have an occasional kid yell or curse at a teacher but that was rare due to fact that we knew we would get our butts bruised if we did that. I talked back to a teacher one time. So I got a paddling from her. Then I got the belt, when my mom got home & then AGAIN when dad got home. Then my football coach made me do extra PT, clean up the field house & pick up trash in parking lot. So not only did I get my butt beat three times. I had to clean toilets & pick up trash. All for talkin back in a "yelling" type of tone at a teacher. Which I admit I did, cause I was being cocky that day. But I didn't do that crap again for the fear I'd get it again.
Now this is just my two cents worth. If ya don't want other people to discipline your kid(s) then by all means don't allow it. Butt I'm all for a justified paddling.
