It's either infrared or ultraviolet not ultra red also uv stands for ultraviolet so, if you meant ultraviolet you just said it twice

Small correction* if it uses both infrared and ultraviolet then it likely uses visible light too because that is what is between the two, I'm guessing it only uses ultraviolet as that's what most of them use

At most, the battery level will not change due to conservation of energy. But this will fail though: most light will just bounce off.
