Then I am essentially a god myself. If all the gods bless me then it is not unlikely that they would deem me fit to be a god as Zeus did to Dionysus. What would my blessing be? Would I be the god of blessings?
16oz in 1lb, 14lb in a stone. Who is arguing against the use of st? It makes more sense to use stone for anyone who weighs above 13lb (i.e. babies) whenever I hear Americans weighing themselves in lbs it makes me think of people who say their babies are 24 months old.
Lol. That's an interesting take. I've always felt the opposite about meters in height. Like oh- this guy is only 2 meters tall. He's just a little fellow. Or like, you see 1.8 meters and 1.5 meters and think they are about the same height. Maybe it is that while American preoccupation with size? Like it just sounds bigger to say you're 180lbs instead of 12 stone? But then you'd think our men would like centimeters. Like some dude walking around like a peacock bragging about all 12 centimeters nature gave him instead of inches where he's trying to explain that length in shame with: he measured it in a cold room... after coming out of the pool.... on a bad day....
