Not sure if its the area where I live but I get shit for not being vaccinated. While I agree with vaccines and their importance I could never understand why my parents didn't get me vaccinated.
I'm not vegan or a health nut.

Vaccines are like helmets. Oh, you don't ride a helmet on a motorcycle? Ah, you're a safe driver so you don't need them. The thing is that you don't need a helmet until you do. You don't think you need to be vaccinated... until you get extremely sick and are on the verge of death. And you can't just put on a helmet just before you crash.
If not getting vaccinated only affected you then I wouldn't care. You're old enough to decide if you want them. But they aren't. You not getting vaccinated puts others at risk - those who CAN'T get vaccinated for medical reasons. You're healthy so you don't get sick but you can still spread the sickness to someone who isn't as better off and then they die. Your ignorance just probably has, will, and is killing someone. That is why vaccination should me mandatory.
Have you heard about that celebrity who died from polio last week? Oh wait, no one had it as we nearly eradicated polio - one of the deadliest viruses in history - with vaccines. Wanna know why we only nearly destroyed polio? Because a few idiots decided not to get vaccinated and allowed it to survive.
If you don't get vaccinated for health reasons fine. We have herd immunity which means that you are at much higher than normal risk of being harmed by those who don't get vaccinated because they're idiots. If this is the case then you of all people should be the most upset.
