Money doesn't make you happy but the security it gives does. I feel happier when my bills are paid than I do when I am tring to figure out how to pay them. And money buys vacations with your family and that one toy you give to your child that makes them so happy they cry.
It also gets you that bus ticket to family you haven't seen in 9 years.
I think the only way money buys happiness is if after all the bills are paid you have 1000-2000 extra a month. That way you have a little mad money and money to put away for when the shit hits the fan.
